Abstract: The article discusses information technologies that are used in the learning process, the technology of stream learning in particular. The foreign teaching experience in the use of streaming technology in education is analyzed. Foreign researchers studied in detail the use of stream-media in education and their impact on the theory and practice of learning. They described how to use the existing learning content and set out approaches to the independent creation of media. The ways of using stream technologies in the learning process are considered (the choice of instructional video by the teacher, which the group of students view together on one or several screens; the use of video materials before class as preparation for discussion and classroom assignments; the use of video after the lesson to review educational material or for students who, for whatever reason, have missed an activity; using video as a stand-alone educational material; video can be used for self-study). The article provides scenarios for the use of stream-technology in the development of information technology disciplines in higher education (for example: a teacher records the solution of a task from his computer screen, students watch videos and make the necessary settings on their computers, remembering the sequence of actions; students record video with any web service, then post it for their classmates and the teacher, who can use the experience of colleagues for their own study of the web service, students may be asked to group task, for example, by setting up a website in which you must solve several problems: from design to server configuration, web programming and subsequent debugging). The place of stream technology is indicated in the context of the structural elements of the use of new information technologies in learning. Examples of the use of the considered technology for distance learning, as well as for group video conferencing are given.
