Abstract: The article is devoted to the study of the following issues: what determines the self-development of the student's personality in case of the to new (remote) forms of education; how the needs to achieve results of students of different forms of education correlate; self-assessment of the individual regarding to the image of the desired work; goal-setting in relation to career. The purpose of the study was the description of the perceptions of students of different forms of education on the career self-efficacy. Methods of determining the level of self-efficacy of the individual (D. Madduks), the method of determining the direction of the individual to achieve success or avoid failure (A. M. Rean), the scale of the need to achieve success (Y.M. Orlov) and the method of studying the motivation of professional career (E. Shein) were used to evaluate the career self-efficacy and motivation of students. The results of the study are explained by reference to the subject activity, which is initially higher in students of part-time form. The authors emphasize the importance of development and support of the need for self-development and selfdesign of professional development of full-time students which are deprived of the opportunity to correlate their ideas, opportunities and achievements in educational activities with professional activities.
