Experience of Formation of Pre-School Classes in Children of Preschool Representations of Safe Behavior When Way in Hostages

Abstract: How to build and conduct classes with children at the stage of preschool childhood on the issue of safe behavior when being held hostage to ensure the preservation of their own lives and the lives of others? The article presents the experience of conducting classes with children of preschool age under the anti-terrorism program “Safe Me in a Safe World” as part of security classes. The purpose of the study: to clarify the features of the pedagogical process when acquainting children with the most characteristic signs of a hostage situation, learning to adequately take shape and taking hostage actions into account, taking into account the development of cognitive qualities of a person, logical thinking, moral and volitional qualities of a person (diligence, discipline, the ability to control their behavior), while raising the desire in children to use the rules and strategies for safe behavior I am hostage and responsible for observing the rules of behavior as hostages to preserve the health and life of my people and others. For the study, classes were held in 2020 on hostage security in eight groups of two preschool educational organizations in the Chelyabinsk region, with a total number of children – 82 children aged 5 to 7 years. The main results showed the pedagogical effectiveness and psychological safety of conducting classes for children of older preschool age on safety when being held hostage with reference to the class outline proposed by the author. The results are based on the observation of 8 educators and their interviewing by the author of the study. The proposed lesson is the only one described in the literature on this topic for children 5–7 years old and can be conducted as part of anti-terrorism security classes in other preschool educational organizations.
