Abstract: The urgency of the problem of formation of communication skills is due to high requirements for a person’s personal activity, as well as his ability to interact with other people in various forms of social relations. The need for communication is one of the main in society. When people enter into relationships with the outside world, they begin to communicate information about themselves, in response to receiving information of interest. The analysis of this information helps to plan activities in society. How effective this activity will become largely depends on the quality of the information itself, its exchange. School is called upon to form interaction skills. The communicative orientation in the learning process is one of the areas of humanization of modern education. Today, Russian schoolchildren must be ready to engage in dialogue, find compromises, be tolerant, tolerant, be able to accept other people’s opinions and defend their own. Thus, the upbringing of a person who can be independent, has a willingness to interact with the world and possesses the skills of cooperation in various activities – an important task of modern education. The formation of communication skills can be realized not only within educational institutions, but also in extracurricular associations (music and art schools, youth and youth associations, elective classes, circles, etc.). This article presents a methodology for the formation of artistic communication skills among younger students attending the violin ensemble. The purpose of this article is to disclose (describe) the methods, games and exercises that are conducted to form the artistic communication skills necessary for the best performance of ensemble works by younger students. The research methods presented in the article are analysis and systematization of literature, a survey of teachers, generalization of the results of activities to create methods for the formation of artistic communication skills.
