Abstract: The article proposes conceptual solutions, which might be useful in the development of network educational resources that contribute to the formation of the linguo-cultural competence of foreign students in learning the Russian language and culture. The basic elements of the network educational resource are described. The technical, technological and methodological approaches to designing a network educational resource, which is aimed at the formation of linguo-cultural competence, are considered. The article gives classification of educational technologies that can be most actively used in the construction of network educational resources in order to enhance the linguo-cultural competence of foreign students (distance learning technology, geo-information technology, video conferencing technology, stream learning technology). The use of each technology is due to the desire to interact with the user-learners in different forms, contributing to the comfortable development of educational material and increasing the effectiveness of the training itself in the native and foreign languages. The typology of web resources used in the field of education is described (distance education websites, educational websites, research websites, information and reference websites, websites of competitive Internet projects, and educational websites). The synthesis of various technological advances and functional capabilities of various web resources allowed the authors to create an educational platform for the article - a web resource “In Russian About Russia”. This website is considered as one of the steps in the development of distance learning technologies of teaching Russian as a foreign language in the Ural State Pedagogical University. The web resource “In Russian About Russia” serves as an integrator of educational tasks for learning Russian, informational reviews about Russian culture, scientific and methodological support for language learners, and is a platform for the exchange of information between users of this web resource.
