Abstract: The article describes the method of formation of ability to solve physical problems of pupils of national schools of the Republic of Tyva. One of the relevant problems in teaching Physics is training of pupils to solve of physical problems. It is due not only to complexity of this kind of activity for pupils, but also to some shortcomings of the existing methodology of teaching to solve physical problems. The method of solution problems in Physics is well developed in didactics, but the traditional method needs adaptation to modern requirements to school-leavers and shift of stress in educational process according to regional and ethnopsychological features of students. The problem mentioned above is particularly urgent at national schools because children of national schools of the republic have one more problem – a language barrier. The author's method is based on an algorithmic method, with use of bilingual approach and the theory of systematical stage-by-stage formation of intellectual actions by P.Ya. Galperin. When developing the method, national, regional and ethno-psychological features of pupils of the Tyva schools were considered and training was carried out with the help of the native language. The article analyzes the validity of this technique in educational process of national schools. The efficiency of the described technique of formation of abilities of the solution of physical tasks among the Tyva pupils is confirmed in the didactic experiment made in the national gymnasium No. 9 of Kyzyl of the Republic of Tyva. The following criteria have been applied to statistical processing of the experiment results: Rosenbaum's Q, U Mann – Whitney, Vilkokson's T, Median criterion of m, φ* - angular transformation of Fischer.
