Abstract: The main reasons that have a negative influence on engineers training in Russia are outlined. The main approaches and principles of organization of network cooperation in the course of teaching engineering professions are discussed. Practical implementation of network cooperation is carried out in the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company. The Company cluster includes educational establishments of general, additional, vocational and higher education, Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company factories, social partners and Department of Education of V. Pyshma. The learning process is based on five principles: integrity, continuity, early introduction to profession, practical emphasis of learning process and taking into account mining mentality. The article describes cooperation between the institutions, companies and factories of the cluster in order to implement these principles in training process of young people majoring in engineering. Special attention is paid to organization, execution and analysis of the outcome of the unique social and professional project “Engineering Olympiad of Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company”, the aim of which is promotion of project and research activity among students and development of creative potential of employees.
