Development of the Universal Competencies of Technical Students by Means of E-Sports and Streaming at the Lessons of Physical Education

Abstract: This article considers e-sports and streaming as modern means of development of universal competences of students of technical specialties in physical education. Physical education classes, as a rule, are aimed only at the development of physical qualities, they do not give students the opportunity to develop the universal competence that they should have. It is noted that the interests of the younger generation are formed not only in real life, but also in virtual life. In this regard, the relevance of the development of universal competencies by means of e-sports and streaming is justified. The article deals with a new sport, computer sport, which is the most popular among the younger generation, and can be used for the development of universal competencies. It is also about modern streaming technologies, thanks to which it is possible to communicate remotely by means of exchange of video recordings on a variety of topics in various fields, including in the field of physical education and e-sports. The definitions of the concepts — «eSports», «streaming» and «stream» are given. Popular e-sports disciplines are considered and described. Examples of activities in the occupation of e-sports are given. The features of the training sessions in physical education and e-sports based on the use of technology of stream training are described. It is noted that in the modern world e-sports and streaming begin to enter the educational process of higher education institutions. However, e-sports and streaming in higher education institutions appeared relatively recently, so, as a rule, in these institutions, there are no conditions for computer sports and streaming, as well as there are no specialists in these areas. In conclusion, a number of measures are proposed for the formation of universal competencies by means of a e-sport and streaming in physical training.
