Psychological and Pedagogical Grounds of Synchronous Education

Abstract: This paper offers a description of psychological and pedagogical grounds that characterize synchronous education, i. e. such type of education that is focused on providing knowledge closely connected with today’s most acute demands of both an individual and society. Synchronous education is contrasted to asynchronous types of education. Into the latter category we include overtaking education and outstripping education, which do not correspond to the full extend to society’s topical interests and needs.
