Abstract: The complex of adaptation barriers and difficulties which the Chinese students face in Russia is described. Difficulties of a communicative character, which hamper adaptation, should be eliminated, first of all, by means of lingo didactic teaching of Russian as a foreign language. Strengthening of bilateral culture direction in educational process contributes both to elimination of negative stereotypes and to establishment of effective dialogue between Russian and Chinese cultures.
