Scientific and Methodological Legacy of D. D. Semenov and his Role in the Development of Methods of Teaching Geography as a Science

Abstract: This paper presents the results of historical-genetic analysis of the methodological legacy of the famous domestic Methodist D. D. Semenov. Described are methodological foundations of research activities of the scientist that led to the genesis of the scientific methodology of knowledge and formation methods of teaching geography as an independent research.
