Managing Students’ Educational Activity During Lectures Involving Classroom Response System (CRS)

Abstract: The article investigates finite and situational approach to designing students’ educational activity management methods. The selected management method is based upon four input finite sets: local education purposes set, possible pedagogical situations set, local conditions of educational process set and possible teacher reactions set. Applying the described approach to designing students educational activity managing methods necessitates involving system of students parallel poll — classroom response system (CRS). The influence of the 3 input factors (aims, situations, conditions) is revealed as a result of students voting (answers to alternative questions) and viewed as a bar graph. Depending on the diagram the teacher is recommended possible reactions (managing actions), out of which he or she may choose the optimal ones.
