Abstract: The activity of Ekaterinburg Eparchial College for Women as a special pedagogical establishment to train teaching staff for primary schools is examined. The problems of admission to the college, financial bases of the college, and members of the teaching staff are discussed. The content of educational and vocational-pedagogical training of intending female teachers is analysed.
