Abstract: On the basis of the carried-out theoretical analysis of researches of educational environment, its modern characteristics, most important of which is the multiculturalism, are concretized. The authors found out the reasons of the inconsistent multidirectional processes which cause the need of development of an adequate pedagogical position, consequently and development of such professionally important qualities as a pedagogical orientation, reflexivity, tolerance, empathy, volitional self-control.
