Abstract: The given research is carried out in terms of pedagogical discourse studies and is aimed at investigation of the national pedagogical picture of the world. The results of the psycholinguistic experiment suggest Russian and British stereotyping of the concept ―British education‖ including auto- and heterostereotypes peculiarities. The authors highlight metaphorical modeling and associations in the reactions of Russian and British speakers on the concept-input. The results of the experiment contribute to the investigation of the given conceptual fragment, as well as suggest the presentation of both common traits and specific Russian and British conceptualizations.
