The Formation of Intercultural Competence of the Students in the Process of Language Training at the University

Abstract: The article is devoted to the formation of intercultural competence of students studying a foreign language on a professional level. It covers the results of diagnostics conducted among graduates of the specialty «Foreign language: Japanese language» in the educational field «Oriental and African studies» and is aimed at identifying the level of formation of cognitive and active components of competence.
