Criteria and Indices of Students Health-Saving Competence Assessment

Abstract: The article describes the peculiarities of realization of the modern educational standards. It substantiates the necessity of changing evaluation criteria of students' knowledge in the cycle of natural sciences. It stresses the need for competence-based approach to the assessment of the level of development of health saving competences and identifies the types of criteria and activities for evaluation of health saving competences. For the evaluation of the levels of health saving competence it identifies the main components: gnoseological, value-semantic and active. It further defines the basic criteria for their scoring characteristics, indicators and tools. Successful implementation of the proposed requirements will provide graduates with the opportunity to use their knowledge in professional work, to see the problems, suggest ideas related to their decision; carry out the transfer of knowledge of healthy lifestyle into a new situation.
