Social Interaction at School: Value Gap Problems

Abstract: The article examines social interaction in the sphere of the contemporary system of education in Russia. The author concentrates on the problem of the shift of professional pedagogical way of thinking. The article proposes to look at the secondary school leaver as a valuable subject of the educational process, whose values orientation has not yet become the landmark for the teacher. The paper contains the materials of concrete sociological research undertaken in 2007-2013 in the educational establishments of the Mid Urals Region by the sociologists of USPU for the Ministry of General and Professional Education of Sverdlovsk Region. This research allows to continue the discussion of new phenomena, brought into the educational process by the information-oriented society, and caused by the problems of values gap discovered in teachers and school leavers.
