Abstract: The article deals with the main methodological approaches to designing the process of formation of socio-ecological competence of a future teacher. Special attention is paid to the consideration of the essence of the concepts “methodology” and “approach”, and the possibility of application to the declared subject of systemic, synergetic, personal-active and axiological approaches.
