Abstract: The article deals with the concept of “moral development” as applied to younger adolescents. It presents a model that implements the idea of optimizing the educational potential of pedagogically organized aesthetic environment through recourse to internal forces of pupils during their immersion in the atmosphere of artistic creativity, experience and understanding of artistic images — carriers of moral values.
