Abstract: The article interprets the treatment of educational dialogue and its potential for the development of schoolchildren, which, on the one hand, is due to the specific cognitive, communicative, social and developmental objectives of the orientation of dialogue, and, on the other, is associated with communication and social guidelines of education, which are formulated both in scientific works and federal educational standards.
Key words: Dialogue; specificity of educational dialogue; «risk areas» of dialogue in the learning process; tasks of educational dialogue as an integral component of personal development of junior schoolchildren.
