Abstract: The article examines the practice of the organization of work with the students of various educational institutions of the city of Surgut, oriented on solution of the problem of qualified psychological support of professional choice. The article presents the results of the research of the quality of the program of psychological and pedagogical support for students, the results of the survey of parents about their willingness to assist in the vocational choices of children, the results of the survey of pupils of specialized classes about the impact of profile teaching on career choice.
