Abstract: In the article the institutions of secondary professional education are regarded as pedagogical systems and objects of management. The author represents the following systemic factors of management of the educational process: the mission, competitiveness of the college on the educational market, the image, the goal, the management functions, methods and principles, the results of educational activities and the leader’s personality. The author introduces the criteria of the positive image of the institute of secondary professional education and the basic goals of the particular college.
