Psychological Mechanism of Orphans’ Defense in Difficult Life Situations

Abstract: The results of the study of protective mechanisms of behavior of orphans in difficult (crisis) situation are given. 30 adolescents aged 10 - 13 without parental care were test subjects. A comparative analysis of the protective behaviors of adolescents who survived abuse and violence in the family and of their personal characteristics is undertaken.
