Abstract: Young people tend to look for their place in life, actively choosing ways of effective self-realization in society. However society promotes rigid gender norms and stereotypes of ―success‖ by limiting expression of individuality. Narrowing of opportunities for self-development takes place, which stimulates young people to find ways of its optimization including getting rid of gender stereotypes that hinder personality self-development. This problem is topical as it is not studied well enough.
