Physical Education of Young People as a Guarantee of National Security of Russia

Abstract: The article deals with the questions of rational use of social resources in the interests of guaranteeing national security of Russia. It argues the possibility of raising the degree of readiness of the younger generation to serve in the army through the development of physical education, which may be regarded as a link between the acting military collectives and the future defenders of Fatherland. The article gives examples of effective work of veterans and members of military collectives in the sphere of physical and patriotic education of the youth.
