Abstract: The article discloses the specificity of students’ internship abroad and the peculiarities of organization of an arts exhibition in the framework of international students’ internship, which serves as an element of intensifying academic mobility of the university. The urgency of research is determined by the contradiction between the necessity of organization of an arts exhibition as a means of students’ international internship and the absence of the description and grounds for the algorithm of international students’ internship. International activity, which can be connected with international students’ internship, is an important index of effectiveness of the university. At the same time, many universities including Ekaterinburg Academy of Contemporary Art underestimate the importance of international students’ internship, which manifests itself in the absence of the algorithm for organization of such internship. The given research may fill the gap by presenting an algorithm worked out by the authors of the article with reasonable and detailed stages and the content of the process of an arts exhibition organization as a means of students’ international internship. Besides the article characterizes the art exhibition as a socio-cultural phenomenon, analyzes the variants of students’ international internship in Russian and foreign universities, describes the content of the project “Colors of the Urals”, organized with the help of students in Prague.
Key words: International students’ internship; arts exhibition; algorithm of organization of an arts exhibition abroad.
