Abstract: community of universities offering educational programs of pedagogical orientation to the education process. The requirements of the standard are general in nature and are to be realized in any Pedagogical University. The following mechanisms of realization of the standard in practice may be important: conducting questionnaires of those studying pedagogy about the level of satisfaction with the education process; development and implementation of student projects, aimed at improving the quality of education at universities; conducting self-assessment of the quality of education provided by educational organizations by the general public and independent experts. The Standard passed the procedure of approbation and was adopted as a basis at the Russian Pedagogical Forum "For the Quality Education" 24-25 September 2015 in Ekaterinburg by students from 19 organizations that implement programs of pedagogical orientation. The final adoption of the Standard will take place in late December, 2015 at the final meeting of the Commission on the quality of education of the Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation for youth issues.
