Abstract: The article reveals some principal issues of online elective course on foreign language assignment organization at school. The strategy of development of an efficient interactive online course is under analysis. It is introduced in the accordance with the classroom teaching at school and educational program on the subject, which satisfies the condition of interactivity. Fragments of English lessons to prepare primary students to synchronous work on the Internet at virtual classroom are proposed. Attention is given to universal learning activities defined by the federal state educational standard of the new generation. The need is stressed to involve learningapps.org which has tools to design interactive multimedia tasks to provide an elective course in foreign language at primary school. Attention is drawn to the possible difficulties that may arise within the elective online work, as well as the ways to overcome them. According to the practice, the author was able to identify a positive trend in the impact of the use of the online course on teaching foreign language at primary school. The main advantage of this development is an increasing motivation to learn foreign language, readiness to communicate, a high self-organization of students in learning process.
