Abstract: The article is devoted to the problem of language acquisition by a child, in particular, the aspect of mastering the grammatical structure of the Russian language. The material for the study was recorded for two years spontaneous children's speech. The subject of the analysis is grammatical innovations in the speech of one child aged two to four and a half years. Children's neoplasms are considered in the system-centric paradigm from the point of view of their compliance with the language norm. Methods of morphemic, word-formation and morphological analysis of the word are used. The article analyzes the forms of inflection of nouns and verbs, the variability of the formation of specific verb forms, and the derivational processes in the formation of relative and possessive adjectives. It is shown that the child's speech development is manifested in the ability to choose the desired grammeme from a set of forms that form a morphological category, and in the ability to design morphological forms according to the rules corresponding to the law of language symmetry. It is proved that the child, mastering the language as an operational mechanism, forms its own categorical system based on General rules, that the internal mechanism of generating grammatical forms is subject to the deep law of analogy, so children's speech innovations differ in typological uniformity and are based on General laws of the language system.
