Socialization of the Child’s Personality in Family Education

Abstract: The article discusses the peculiar features of formation of social skills of a child's personality in the form of family pre-school education. It indicates the goal setting landmarks of development of preschool children in the context of the Federal State Educational Standards. The paper highlights the contradiction which substantiates the necessity of research of the problem raised in the given article and regards the concept of family pre-school education and the requirements of Federal State Educational Standards of preschool education to the development of the child. The author points out the main tasks of educational activity of parents, which become particularly important in the context of family education. Family education is considered in the article as a system of education and upbringing, established in the family, which implies purposeful influence on the child. The article deals with psychological and pedagogical characteristics of the family, as an institution of socialization of the child. The factors of influence of family socialization on the child are enumerated. Socialization is understood both as the process of formation of personality in which the child assimilates social values, experience, and behavior patterns, and as a result of his reproduction of social experience, obtained in the course of interaction with other people. The article shows the key role of mother in the translation of social and cultural experience to the child, through purposeful educational influence, in which the mother realizes herself both personally and through her activity. The article describes the aspect of realization of the parent himself as the subject of parent-child and educational relations. It is shown that the organization of family forms of education stimulates bilateral development of both children and parents.
