Abstract: The paper discusses the need for socialization of children in the in-class and out-of-class work in agricultural schools situated in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Such work satisfies the demands and meets the interests of pupils, their parents and the society. The paper studies the methods of analysis of children’s socialization and their importance for the development of the training package "Traditional Agriculture" to be used in agricultural schools located in the villages. We found the most effective means of in-class and out-ofclass teaching and socialization of children on the basis of the training package "Traditional Agriculture" intended for agricultural schools of the North: Sakha, Evens, Evenks, Yukaghir people, Dolgans and Chukchi. The training package "Traditional Economy" is an activity-based training course.
