Abstract: The paper describes cooperation activities between educational institutions and the employers, which are based on establishment and consolidation of relations on prospective specialists training, exchange of information about the current state and perspectives of the labour market, requirements to the specialists, their personal traits and development of different forms of professional education. It is the employers who place an order for specialists and act as experts of education quality. Such partnership ensures employment of graduates. The Ural State Pedagogical University made a long-term agreement with the Ministry of Education of Sverdlovsk Region to provide specialists in Pedagogy and the Humanities for the educational establishments of the region and to find out the needs and requirements of the employers to the prospective employees. Cooperation will raise the education quality and provide good training of prospective teachers, it will form professional competence with regard to the demands from employers, guarantee employment to the graduates and make the adaptation process easier.
