Socialization and Social Surfing Development of Modern Youth in the Context of Civil Subjectivity

Abstract: The purpose of the present article is to describe the phenomenon of social surfing allowing for the socialization processes in the information society and its role in changing the civil subjectivity of modern youth. Social surfing of youth is considered as a kind of reaction to the subject society transitivity. The article provides an analysis of the social environment and its characteristics – multi-variability, dynamism, multicultural nature, variability, uncertainty and information load. We describe their possible impact on human behavior as in the embodiment of the individual components and the overall model as a whole. The basic method is theoretical modeling method, which allowed to design the model of changes of civil subjectivity of youth in the conditions of social surfing. The mechanism of changing social priorities is described; the detailed characteristics of the targets of the young people who choose a similar strategy of socialization is given. The results of the study will expand the scientific understanding of the specifics of socialization of young people in the context of globalization, informatization and transitive modern society and development of its civil subjectivity. The model can be used as a basis for empirical studies of civil subjectivity of the phenomenon, as it allows to operationalize the construct.
