Abstract: The article is devoted to the issues of application of e-learning and blended learning and the necessity of the information-educational environment (IEE) for the implementation these forms of learning. The article considers the technological problem of IEE construction and deals with software choice for its architecture design and further administration. The article provides a classification of the education-oriented software and the toolkit which would allow constructing IEE. Among these products the author distinguishes the learning management systems (LMS); the experience of using such systems would let formulate requirements and determine the range of LMS restrictions. As an alternative tool of the IEE construction, cloud computing is suggested; the author substantiates the choice of Google cloud services as the basic tool. The comparative analysis of tools of well-known LMS (WebTutor, eLearning Server, Prometei, Moodle) and Google cloud services to reach such didactic goals as learning of new information, revision and control. The author comes to the conclusion about the possibility of IEE construction based on cloud services, which can minimize LMS restrictions in IEE construction on account of sufficient set of services and allow reaching the main didactic goals.
