Project Activities of the of Kostanay College of Road Transport in the Field of International Cooperation

Abstract: The article deals with the origins and nature of project activity. It is based on the principles of pedagogical design. The education system of the Republic of Kazakhstan is being modernized taking into account international experience. The article presents a project on institutional development of the College of Road Transport. The main strategic objectives are the following: expansion of active international links of the College with Russia, Belarus, Germany and Finland; exchange of experience in the sphere of development of professional education system; participation and implementation of innovative mechanisms in education activities; promoting the participation of faculty and students in academic mobility programs; participation in the creation and testing of regional models of integration into world scientific-educational space; development of infrastructure of international cooperation. The project involves the study of the following issues: adequacy of professional education to economy and production; catch-up, simultaneous and proactive professional education; design of the content of educational programs in accordance with the requirements of employers; high quality of professional education; organization of activity of educational institutions as businesses. The project is being successfully carried out in introducing in the College of information methods of education process support.
