Psycho-Pedagogical Support of Development of Professional Competence of the Teacher

Abstract: The article considers the role and possibilities of psycho-pedagogical support in terms of development of professional competence of the teacher. The aim of the study is to develop and test a program of psycho-pedagogical support of development of professional competence of the teacher. According to the program test results it is found that its participants registered significant changes in the parameters of activity and personal components of professional competence. It has been determined that the implementation of the program of psycho-pedagogical support of development of professional competence of the teacher promotes tolerance to the uncertainty of the current position, the motivation to succeed, the formation of career orientations, self-identification as a successful person, reduction of resistance, anxiety and rigidity of innovative activity. The obtained results can serve as a basis for the development of a comprehensive program of development professional competence of teachers in terms of implementation of innovations in education.
