Social Partnership Between Family and Nursery School in the Process of Formation of Ethnic Tolerance of Children at the Present Stage of Development of Society

Abstract: The article deals with the urgent problem of formation of ethnic tolerance in the modern society. It is noted that this issue becomes especially important in the multinational community of Russia and this fact substantiates the necessity of formation of ethnic tolerance beginning with junior school age. The author considers that the formation of ethnic tolerance in preschool children should be based on social partnership between the family and the nursery school, characterized by equality, dialogue, voluntary interaction, self-dependence and conscious choice and solution-taking by each party. The article defines the stages of formation of social partnership in the Russian system of education, and singles out its main features at the present moment. Based on generalization of theoretical and practical works, the author thinks that it is necessary to prepare the family and the nursery school to productive interaction in the sphere of interethnic relations which would allow teachers to gradually form ethnic tolerance of children.
