Information Technology of Cognitive Interest Formation of Cadets of the Russian Educational Institutions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations

Abstract: Labor market needs set the direction for development of modern education and form a model or standard of a specialist competent in the vast range of professional issues. Such specialists should have skills to work with modern technical equipment, be able to analyze the situation, take the right decision and contribute to the solution of the problem in the shortest period of time. This model of the future specialist is applicable to many professions, but to the experts, who are responsible for people’s lives, this rule is binding. Education should not only give the students knowledge and skills, but also to awaken their desire for self-education, the need for practical implementation of the acquired knowledge and skills. The use of information technologies in the educational process will find a solution to this problem and create the opportunities for the formation of cognitive interest of students of educational institutions of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. This article deals with the essence of cognitive interest of a person, with the problem of formation of cognitive interest of students of educational institutions of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations with the use of information technology. We identified the stages of development of cognitive interest, disclosed didactic learning opportunities, gave examples of tasks performed by the cadets on specific simulators.
