Polyartistic Approach to Socio-Communicative Development of Senior Preschool Children

Abstract: The article raises the problem of implementation of the most important tasks of the new generation educational standards: socio-communicative development of preschool children. It substantiates the idea of an effective solution of this problem with the help of polyartistic approach. The purpose of the article is to reveal the pedagogical potential of polyartistic activities in socio-communicative development of children. The article describes the methods comprising the stages of formation of socio-communicative qualities of preschool children in the conditions of children's educational organization and correlated with the stages of the task, forms, methods, and types of polyartistic games and creative tasks. The results of investigation include the following: the authors proved the effectiveness of reliance on polyartistic approach giving the child opportunity of holistic perception of the world through art, and defined methods and forms of organization of polyartistic activities aimed at the development of positive self-perception, volitional qualities, creativity and the foundations of moral behavior in preschool children. Sphere of application of results: theory and methods of training and education (preschool education). The results of practical testing of the developed method proved effectiveness of its use of poly-artistic activities in socio-communicative development of children.
