Assessment of the Quality of Preschool Education: The Technological Aspect

Abstract: The article is devoted to the topical problem of today – the assessment of the quality of preschool education. The article offers the technology of preschool education quality assessment based on the qualimetric approach. The works of scientists are analyzed (G. Azgal′dova, A.N. Glicheva, A.G. Gogoberidze, I.A. Kolesnikova, O.A. Safonova, A.I. Subetto etc.); based on the analysis the necessity of development of technology assessment of the studied phenomenon is proved. The paper covers the following theses: methodological principles of quality control (A.N. Glichev); approach to the assessment of the quality of education as public value (A.I. Subetto); the idea of humanitarian-oriented qualitological scales; the statement of the expediency of expanding the subject of synthetic quality control by incorporating not only quantitative, but also qualitative component into it (Subetto A.I.). The matrix of assessment of the quality of preschool education is given.
