Abstract: The article describes the theoretical background of formation and development of the creative person in the conditions of integration of education and formation of the Eurasian educational space. The focus is on the discussion of the phenomenon of creativity and its manifestations in different contexts of life. Based on the theoretical analysis of the literature, the authors provide a refined definition of the concept of «creative ability of the individual», reveal its structural components and determine its role in the development of creative potential of a person. The authors present various domestic and foreign theories, in which the parameters of creative person are described. In identifying the mechanisms of development of creative abilities of students of Humanities universities, the authors define and substantiate the factors affecting creative abilities actualization in the educational environment. The study shows the possibility of psycho-semiotic approach and hermeneutical approaches to explain the essence of the creativity of the individual.
