Abstract: The article examines the pedagogical interaction as a system of direct interaction and interpenetration, which is realized in the process of civil identity formation of a teenager in informal education in summer camps. This system adds personal meaningful content, makes teenager’s life more interesting and forms his subjective position in social practices. Pedagogical interaction is a systematic, constant exercise of communicative actions of teachers having to cause the appropriate response on the part of teenagers – children in summer camp, acting as a tool or a means of education and as a component of the content of educational activities. The article describes the model of pedagogical interaction. The inner content of the model is of pedagogical nature as it discloses pedagogical activities to achieve the leading goal: to form civil identity of a teenager in informal education in summer camp, which allows, first, to open informal education opportunities and features of formation of civil identity of a teenager in it. Informal education is an independent individual cognitive activity of adolescents accompanying him in his life through dedication, personal activity in the informal educational environment of the camp, self-identity and self-determination. It is assumed that informal education in summer camp helps to form teenager’s civil identity.
