Abstract: The article analyzes the experience and describes the application of teaching IT subjects in distance learning using modern stream technologies. It discusses the purpose of the use of online courses in the implementation of educational programs of higher education. It reviews and analyzes the possibilities of using modern information and communication technologies in distance education, especially when teaching IT courses. We introduce the notion of «technology of stream broadcast in the learning process». The article analyzes domestic and foreign experience of application of stream of technologies in education. We consider a model of teacher's activity in competences formation in the field of information systems and technology in classroom and extracurricular work. It is argued that the use of stream technologies in the educational activities will reduce the classroom load and increase productivity of out-of-class work, as meetings in class will be replaced by virtual communication. The variants of hardware and software are listed, the use of which is necessary for operating audiovisual information when organizing and conducting the stream broadcasts in distance teaching of IT courses. The main idea is to form a sequence of actions necessary to organize and conduct the stream broadcasts in the process of distance learning. The methods of implementation of information and communication technologies in the learning process are analyzed. The article suggests methods of using the stream technology in distance education of IT disciplines – preparation, presentation and preservation of the stream broadcasts in phases: planning of learning activities; lectures, seminars, practical classes, tutorials, synchronous and asynchronous on-line learning (off-line mode). The feasibility of the basic idea and methods of stream technology application, obtained on its basis, are revealed.
