Abstract: This paper describes a methodological approach to teacher’s training based on cognitive approach, using learning networks in communication-information space. It is underlined that the discovery of the human genome made a great contribution to the study of the human psyche and the study of memory mechanisms, which allowed to develop new cognitive approaches to pedagogical practice. The convergence of discoveries in psychology, neuroscience and computer learning leads to the changes in educational theory and the design of educational environments. Conversely, educational practice leads to the introduction of new experiments in the teaching process, in which a key component is the role of the "social" factor. The problem of modernization of education is discussed. It is shown that the problem of student-centred approach to achieve metasubject knowledge, stated in the documents of the last three decades, is still not solved in teaching practice. It is proposed to use cognitive model of individual learning development in learning mathematics implementing connectivist approach based on the theory of networks as complex and self-organizing systems. It is shown that learning is realized through self-organization of the network under external influences, the sources of which may be provided by informational resources or a teacher. As an example, the article describes activity of students in the process of solving situational economic problems in the form of project activities. This approach implies thatthe learning process is driven by a practically important tasks, which allows to transfor it into scientific research. Thus, each student is in the conditions favourable for his own search path. So the use of the cognitive approach, computer data processing and cloud technologies allow to realize universal didactic principles, namely activity approach, student-centred training, friendly environment and openness of communicative space and also contributes to the formation of cultural and professional competences of future teachers.
