Abstract: One of the priority tasks of school now is development of the student’s personality, i.e. the ability to work in a group, to establish working relations, carry out effective cooperation and promote productive cooperation capable of building productive interaction with peers and adults. The article is devoted to the issues of formation of students' ability to carry out educational cooperation using cloud technologies. The types of clouds and their characteristics are discussed. The analysis of the experience of information technologies application in the educational process makes it possible to identify the technical, technological, economic and methodological problems that often arise. The solution to these problems can be the use of cloud technologies, which include hardware, software and communication channels that are not tied to the hardware platform and geographic area. Cloud services can provide the opportunity for team work on the project, provide users with tools for operational communication, which proves the feasibility of using them to form students' ability to implement educational cooperation in learning computer science. The components of this skill are defined: the ability to plan training cooperation, the ability to achieve the goal, the ability to objectively evaluate their work and the work of the participants of cooperation. The operational composition of each component is presented. The process of formation of students' ability to carry out educational cooperation is presented in the form of a sequence of three stages. For each stage special learning tasks (practical work, mini-studies, joint educational projects) have been developed, and methodological recommendations for their use in the teaching process have been proposed. Three levels of the students' ability to implement academic cooperation have been defined: low, medium and high. Approbation of the proposed methodology for the formation of students' ability to implement academic cooperation has confirmed its effectiveness.
