Abstract: The article deals with the issues of leading a choir preparation of Bachelor’s degree training in the type “Musical Education”. Possibilities to diagnostics of the level of conducting skills on beginning stage education of future musical teachers in the pedagogical university are analysed. The structure of readiness of future musical teachers to the work of leader of a chorus, assimilation and application practical skills students of the leader of a choral performance is discussed. The article deals with the procedure of diagnostics skills of readiness to practical work students with chorus in order to receive objective information about their development on beginning stage during first stage of the professional readiness in choir of pedagogical university. This diagnostics gives to teacher possibility for project subsequent development and professional work of his pupils in the choir. Diagnostics gives to teacher the possibility to expose the important defects and select the methods to remove them. The article deals criterions of diagnostics are reflected two basic signs of readiness students to the practical work with choir: a) the use of the practical skills of choral vocal (choral ensemble, choral harmony, vocal manner of timbre); b) the use of the practical skills of the leader of a choral (tempo-rhythm, dynamics, sound keeping, reproduced in the conducting gesture). The levels of the conducting skills on beginning stage education of future musical teachers as acquittance, threshold, moving were recognized. The article deals the results of the beginning and concluding diagnostics, received in process of realization of the diagnostic procedure of future musical teachers in process choir class first course of the Institute of Musical and Artistic education of Ural State Pedagogical University during first stage. Presented diagnostics may be used in the choral classes of the different educational institutions the type preparation of musical teachers for schools providing general education.
