Abstract: The research problem: Can the “non-standard” frustration reactions of people with disabilities impede cooperation with others and become a probabilistic obstacle to their integration in the labor market, while the presence of physical limitations can be effectively compensated by social interaction and obtaining the necessary effective assistance in a “barrier environment”? The purpose of research: To identify significant similarities and differences between frustration reactions of persons with disabilities and frustration reactions, considered as a social norm for an adult group of subjects. The Method: Analysis and synthesis of literary sources, an empirical study, which was attended by 43 people of working age with an established status of “disabled” (testing using the frustration test by S. Rosenzweig), qualitative and quantitative analysis of the results of empirical research. The Results of research: The modern labor market imposes on workers general requirements related to the need to effectively adapt to changes in the socio-economic environment, continuously develop and increase their personal and professional competences together with the resources of the organization, in close cooperation and partnership with colleagues. The fact that people with disabilities have physical limitations determines an objective need for close interaction with others. However, the “non-standard” of emotional and behavioral reactions in a situation of frustration, revealed in the experimental group and manifested in emotional “withdrawal”, refusal of interaction and preferential search for individual ways of overcoming the obstacles that arise, is considered as a factor hampering the integration of people with disabilities in the labor market. Activities in an inclusive environment develop the need for collaboration.
