Abstract: The article presents the data of the study of the relationship of psychological resources and self-development of the individual in adulthood and the impact of these resources on self-development. Psychological resources are a systemic characteristic of the individual, allowing to overcome difficult life situations, which are actualized and manifested in the processes of self-development. The study involved 86 adults working in various professions. People of Mature age who wanted to participate in the study were invited to participate. The average age of the entire sample was 37 years. The data of descriptive statistics gave us an understanding that the average values of the results of the study of the entire sample by methods says that the respondents have a fairly good level of selfactualization, resilience, but slightly reduced existential fulfillment and the need for self-development in General. The assumption about the relationship of psychological resources and self-development of the individual in adulthood was confirmed by the results of the correlation analysis of K. Pearson. The assumption about the influence of psychological resources indicators on self-development in adulthood was confirmed by the results of univariate analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results confirmed the fact of the relationship between the indicators of self-development and indicators of psychological resources of the individual, which in turn gives us reason to consider the need for self-actualization, existential fulfillment and resilience as the resources of the individual, contributing to effective self-development. And the presence of the influence of indicators of psychological resources on the self-development of the individual in adulthood indicates that psychological resources contribute to the activity of the individual in the implementation of self-development.
