Abstract: The publication is devoted to the structuring of foreign language hypertext, the principles of linguistic processing of scientific texts of humanitarian subjects with the purpose of translation, describes the method of working with the corpus of texts used in practical classes on the subject “Translation of scientific texts of humanitarian subjects”, which allows defining possible subjects of graduate qualification work of undergraduates. The paper presents a cognitive model of translation, commented on the very concept of hypertext and hypertext as a text corpus processing technology. The terminological apparatus used in linguistics and translation studies is analyzed in the context of hyper-text format editing, text corpus design, and the development of a lexicographic database. The methodical concept of the master's discipline, based on the study and processing of digital educational resources through electronic systems translator, as well as on the analysis, commenting, abstracting and summarizing the results of scientific research using modern domestic and foreign methods and methodologies. The method of translational reading of scientific texts of humanitarian subjects is considered, the main characteristics of the case of special texts are given. The description of the system of control and measuring materials based on the organizational-activity approach, promoting mastering the functional techniques of processing hypertext and the text corpus, is given. The presented discipline is a logical continuation of the development of information technology by linguists and translators, and the proposed technique forms the professional skills necessary for effective and correct translation activity in the field of special texts translation using the application of editorial technology in the process of reading the original and is one of the ways of updating knowledge about choosing a strategy, types and methods of translation of scientific texts.
